Bolton managed to beat troubled Portsmouth last weekend and recorded their first win of the season. Win against Pompey was also their first win on the road in almost a year, and first win in eleven league games (including end of last season), so Wanderers ended quite long run without a win in Premier League.

Stoke gave Chelsea good fight last weekend and unluckily lost the match with a late strike from Malouda.

Bolton boss Gary Megson won’t be able to count on Joey O’Brien, but he could welcome back Johan Elmander, Andy O’Brien, Ricardo Gardner and Sean Davis.

Stoke were unfortunate to lose against Chelsea, and to make things even worse, they lost experienced striker James Beattie in that match. Apart from Beattie, their first-choice keeper Thomas Sorensen was also hurt in same match but should be fit for Bolton match.

Stoke proved once again that they are true force at Britannia Stadium, but their road record in Premier League is still one of the worst and trip to Rebook Stadium tomorrow will probably be another hard one for The Potters. Gary Megson’s side took important moral boost with win at Fratton Park last weekend, and is good price to produce back-to-back victories.

2.20 for Bolton at Paddy Power and Sky Bet looks tempting.
