Seattle vs San Jose

Seattle Sounders FCSan Jose EarthQuakesAll the major football leagues are already finished, but there is still enough space left in these 'summer' leagues to find some value. During next two months we will have a go on Major League Soccer and Scandinavian leagues, and we kick off this campaign with MLS match between Seattle and San Jose.

Seattle had bright start to their opening season in MLS, but lately they hit the bad run and are 6 games without win now. After 5 straight draws they were finally beaten in their last match against Chivas. San Jose on the other hand, didn't have the best start of this season, and after 12 games played they managed only 2 wins and 3 draws.

Team news

Seattle will be without keeper Chris Eylander, defenders Zach Scott and Taylor Graham, and forward Jarrod Smith, who are all out injured, while Nate Jaqua and Jhon Kennedy Hurtado are suspended.

San Jose travel to Seattle without injured defender Ryan Cochrane and midfielder Bobby Convey, Simon Elliot who is with his New Zealand national team, while they hope to have Jason Hernandez and Darren Huckerby in squad, despite some injury problems.

Betting verdict

It's true that Seattle enojyed much better start of the season than Earthquakes, but it is obvious that they are in clear downtrend at the moment. Six games without win is too long streak, and they simply can't be such a big favorites in this match.

San Jose on the other hand are unbeaten in last two rounds, and after poor start of the season one win and one draw in last two games looks like huge improvement.

6.00 for San Jose Earthquakes at Blue Square looks too big to be missed, and I think that there is some nice value in those odds.
