Their only win in last 6 rounds came against relegation threatened Middlesbrough, but nobody had an easy game against them lately. They held in-form Fulham and Europe-chasing  Aston Villa to draws, while they made some troubles to Chelsea in a thriller match they lost 3-4.

Hull are bottom of the recent-form table, and are without a win in their last 8 games. They are on awful five-game losing streak, and with huge troubles to score a goal. Although with few decent results away from home this season, Hull are now struggling and after 4 straight defeats away from home and with already weakest home record in league, relegation seems quite possible for the Tigers.

Bolton will be without Ricardo Gardner, while Dan Shittu should be back to squad after a calf problem.

Hull have much bigger selection problems, with Bernard Mendy, Caleb Folan, Ian Ashbee, Jimmy Bullard and Anthony Gardner out through various injuries and suspensions, but they should at least welcome back Kamil Zayatte.

Betting verdict

After flying start of the season, Hull are now in dog-fight at the bottom of the table. They have everything to play for in this match, but I don’t think that Gary Megson and his guys will be doing any favors at Reebok Stadium.

Fair odds for Bolton in this match would be more like 1.80 than 2.20, but from well known 'nothing to play' reason we have huge value on Bolton in this match.
