LiverpoolBoth Red and Blue side of Liverpool are not having the seasons their fans were hoping for before the season started, but are both comingto this clash on the wings of several good results. Liverpool are unbeaten in last 6 league games, and have won 4 consecutive games at Anfield, while Everton are without defeat in 9 games, and are on 3 games winning streak.

Main target for Liverpool for the rest of the season is to catch top-four place and qualify for UEFA Champions League football next season. At the moment they are one point behind 4th placed Tottenham Hotspur, and with a win today they would take fourth spot, at least for few hours. Apart from Tottenham, Reds' main competitors for CL spots are Aston Villa, and Manchester City who are level on points with Liverpool, but with two games in a hand.

Anyway, Liverpool don't have much more space for mistakes left, and all their games till the end of the season will be one little cup final. Boss Rafael Benitez won't be able to count on start striker Torres, while forward Benayoun and defender Johnson are also sidelined.

David Moyes' Everton are without important absentees, and with African Nations Cup over he can count on Yakubu and Yobo, while influental midfielder Arteta is back in contention.

It was 1999 when Everton last time won at Anfield, and with Liverpool in decent form, they will have tough task again. Liverpool were defensively excellent lately, and with just one goal allowed in last 6 games they could be interesting bet to keep clean sheet - Paddy Power pays 2.37 for that.

If you fancy guessing correct score you can't get too wrong with 1-0 which is priced 6/1 at Stan James.
