Aston Villa vs Tottenham

Tottenham HotspurTottenham Spurs and Jermain Defoe were on all the headlines last weekend. You probably already heard about their 9-1 win against Wigan, and 5 goals from Defoe, all scored in second half. No doubts Spurs' experienced boss Harry Redknapp will warn his team against complacency following last weekend's goal fest against Wigan, knowing they will have much harder job. Spurs travel to Villa Park against table-neighbours Aston Villa, and although Villa are in some kind of downtrend at the moment with only two wins in last six rounds, they are still hard to beat, losing only once in last six.

Generally, Aston Villa are having good season, and despite several poor results lately, they are still in good position and are still in the game for top-four spots, with this weekend's opponents Spurs.

Tottenham Hotspur will be fancied this weekend probably by many punters, but Villa is different kind of beast and can hurt them in this match.

Odds are slightly affected by mentioned result from last week, so there is some value on home win. 2.50 at Paddy Power and Blue Square looks like decent price for Aston Villa.
