Hi all, my name is Kieran and I’ll try to find some value bets from English leagues this season. Let’s hope for a good start! BJA8WSZVCXUY
Premier League season opens with a real cracker – last season’s fourth English team welcomes the world’s biggest spenders in transfer market. Yep, Tottenham Hotspur against Manchester City. It is still early in the season so it’s hard to figure out how City’s £100million will actually perform, but with plenty of talent on both sides, this should be an entertaining game, which shouldn’t lack in goals. Last season Spurs dominated this fixture (3-0) and were strong home side, so their fans can be optimistic for tomorrow.
Spurs win is available @2.40 at Victor Chandler, while Over 2.5 goals looks like banker and is available @1.95 at bet365. Spurs to win 2-1 pays 10.00 at Blue Square.
And with plenty of goals expected in London, quite different match is expected in Birmingham where Aston Villa hosts West Ham. Both sides are at the beginning of new eras, Aston Villa begins life without Martin O’Neill, while West Ham start season with Avram Grant as their new boss. We will have to wait and see how Villa performs at home this season, but there probably won’t be any spectacular changes in their game plan so soon after O’Neill departure. Last season they struggled at home, and with Grant in charge Hammers should be hard to beat, and could easily take something from this one.
Hammers escaped with scoreless draw last season, and the same scoreline is available @10.00 (bet365 and stan james). Under 2.5 seems like another decent bet, and is priced @1.80 at Victor Chandler.
Championship already threw few surprises last weekend, and set of the result in opening round calls for caution. There are some early favorites in Championship who did nothing so far, yet they are set as favorites again.
Nottm Forest kicked off their season with two straight defeats. After rather poor display against Burnley last weekend they were beaten by Bradford in Carling Cup, and I struggle to see why bet365 price them as 1.80 favorites against Leeds. True, Leeds will find it much harder at this level following their promotion, but they weren’t that bad against Derby last weekend. They returned some confidence back with 4-0 thumping of Lincoln, and they will fancy their chances at City Ground.
Forest were quite poor going forward in their opener against Burnley, but Leeds defense doesn’t look like most confident and I expect Forest to score in this match. Leeds on the other hand has enough talent up front, and should find the net too.
Over 2.5 goals in this one shouldn’t be out of reach, and 2.10 at stan james and boylesports looks like great price.
1-2 correct score jumps out @19.00 blue square, but only as a small speculative bet.
Roy Keane and his Ipswich Town started this season in impressive fashion and completely outplayed Middlesbrough in the opening round. Burnley are different beast, but Tractor Boys should be full of confidence and should be able to take this match. Bookmakers don’t share my opinion, but I give Ipswich decent chances in this one.
Home win is available @2.40 at bet365, and Ipswich to repeat another 3-1 win is priced 23.00 at sportingbet.

No need to feel bad about your tips, mate. Your write ups were the quality, and with a bit more luck on your side you could easily net few nice winners.
But that’s the way it is with betting – you can’t win them all.
Let’s hope your Leeds tip delivers tomorrow, and I’m sure next round will bring some profit back
